A wise man once said, “caring for seniors is perhaps the greatest responsibility we have.”

As a child of aging parents, I highly resonate with this. My dad is turning 89 this year, and my mom is 83. My parents are the heroes in my life; they worked so hard so that we could have the best chance of a future. I am very grateful for the sacrifices that my parents have given for the benefit of me and my siblings. 

 

My mom started showing signs of memory loss this year and my dad just had his mouth fully extracted. While waiting for his dentures to fit, he is struggling with chronic weight loss and lack of nutrients and energy. It is worrisome, to say the least, to watch my parents, who were once youthful and full of energy, become weak and more vulnerable. They, and other seniors, are the inspiration for this business. It comes from much appreciation and respect for those who have served us so well and now need us to give back. It’s the cycle of life!
